Making a Difference in a Foster Kids Life
For the last 4 years we have been impacting the kids in the Voices for Children of Broward County program. Just imagine starting your first day of school with no supplies, if this were your child how would you feel. Here is where we can make a difference and make an impact. When we start this 4 years ago we never thought that we would be where we are today, in our first year we donated 30 filled backpacks in year 2 we filled 69 and in year 3 we did 150 completely filled backpacks, WOW! The best part is when you hand them out and see the faces light up.
We are well on our way to reaching our goal 175 backpacks and supplies. We have 147 backpacks that have been purchased – 86 Elem. 30 Middle and 32 High School. 28 more school kits to go!!!! We need your help and the big push is for the remainder to be Elementary. The Foster Kids that are in the Voices for Children of Broward County program are going to be so surprised and happy this year.
Banesco Bank has supplied us with the 175 backpacks that we will be stuffing this year, YEY!!!
